Salter and Gibson pick up submission wins at The Warriors Cage "Halloween Havoc 3"

Eagle Mountain Casino in Porterville, Ca held their final MMA event of the year October 25th, 2013 with The Warriors Cage "Halloween Havoc 3". Fight fans packed the house for eight action packed fights that did not disappoint.

In the main event John Salter out of Dethrone Base Camp in Fresno took on MMA veteran Jaime "El Cucui" Jara. Jara would get the top position as the fight hit the canvas, with Salter looking for a armbar. Salter then transitioned into a triangle choke that made Jara tap at 2:20 into round 1.

In the co main event Visalia's Cody "The Renegade" Gibson moved his record to {10-3) by submitting (14-7) Chad George out of Los Angeles. After fighting off a darce choke attempt by George, Gibson escaped and got a take down of his own. As George scrambled to get up, Gibson locked in a guillotine choke that forced the tap at 4:37 in round 1.

Sergio Cortez defeats Tony Llamas by submission, Cortez caught Llamas in a guillotine choke that would end the fight only :39 seconds into round 1.

Gogo Sanchez defeats Pedro Mercado by submission, Sanchez landed some punches from side control until Mercado verbally submitted to strikes at 1:53 in round 1.

Fresno's Antoine Smith earned the Knockout of the night, landing a left high kick to the head of Victor Ceballos that put him out at 2:59 in round 1.

Bakersfeild's Veronica Luna made a successful pro debut defeating Amanda Guerra by tko. Luna got a take down in round 2, where she then moved to full mount and rained down punches until the referee stopped the fight at 1:21 in round 2.

George Zuniga defeats Lucas Reid by submission, locking in a rear naked choke that forced the tap at 2:55 in round 1.

Amateur Champ Matt Perez made a quick and successful pro debut defeating Sam Montiel by tko. Perez took the fight to the ground where he then landed some hard punches from top position until the Referee stopped the fight at only :43 seconds into round 1.
